The Acorn TV Channel on Roku has a default setting to AutoPlay the next episode in a series after you have finished the prior one so there is less need to use your remote while binge-watching. The AutoPlay function stops after 3 episodes in case you leave your screen.
If you do not want episodes to AutoPlay, you also have the ability to toggle AutoPlay on Roku on and off. AutoPlay defaults to ON, but If you would like to turn it OFF, please follow the below instructions:
- Select the “asterisk” (*) button on your remote when navigating the channel at any point before the video starts playing
- Select OFF in the options dialog
- Follow the same instructions to toggle it back ON
